Ken Schwartz Tribute
The sharpening world was delt a devastating blow when Ken Schwartz, the Great Sensei of all things microabrasive passed away in September of 2021. He was a true legend in the sharpening enthusiast community. Whether it was kitchen cutlery, straight razors, or EDC folders, Ken’s contributions to our respective community’s knowledge base cannot be overstated.
Ken educated and mentored countless people all over the world in both basic and advanced sharpening theory. He was a walking encyclopedia of rare natural Japanese waterstones and was a tireless perfectionist in his work developing and perfecting the finest quality diamond and CBN micro-abrasive stropping compounds to be found anywhere.
Rest well Sensei. You are sorely missed my friend.
