KME Sharpeners was conceived a few years ago when a friend was having difficulty sharpening his arrow broadheads. I volunteered to see if I could come up with something to make it easier. I designed a devise that although crude, was reasonably functional. It was a tapered block of wood with a slot to accept the blade which we clamped in place with a couple of drywall screws!

After much refining, our Self- aligning Broadhead and Replacement Blade Sharpener was born, and the traditionally difficult task of professionally sharpening conventional broadheads and replacement blades of all kinds has never been so simple. That’s the heart of it.

KME Sharpeners primary goal and purpose is to create products that dramatically simplify, for everyone, the process of precision sharpening of all types of blades. We take great pride in our products and strive for absolute excellence in product performance, materials, workmanship, customer service, and we build all of our products to last a lifetime, or more. At KME Sharpeners we strongly believe that, contrary to popular opinion, superior products can be made using strictly American parts and American labor. Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies: We want everyone who purchases a KME tool to be 100% satisfied with the tool, and to be fully confident that they spent their money wisely; and we build every tool with that in mind. We guarantee our sharpeners against any defects in materials and/or workmanship for life. Please see the policies below for details:

Cancellations: Requests for cancellation of any order will be accepted without question provided the order has not been shipped already. If your order has already shipped prior to the request for cancellation, full refunds will be made on any order that is returned to KME in new, unused condition.

Warranty/replacement policy: Structural components of KME sharpening systems: If any part or component ever fails, breaks, or wears out, please contact us. We may ask that the failed part be returned to us for our evaluation. Components found to be defective will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

KME Sharpeners return/refund policy: Refunds: Products must be returned in new, unused condition within 30 days of purchase. Contact KME Sharpeners for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and a specific description of the items authorized for return. Shipping charges will be determined on a case by case basis.

KME Gold Series Diamond Stones: While diamond stones are very aggressive and will cut even the hardest steels, all diamond stones will wear out eventually and will need to be replaced from time to time. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the diamond stones. The greatest diamond stone longevity is achieved through using the lightest touch when sharpening with them.

Please Note: We have always striven for “above and beyond” customer service and we take customer satisfaction very seriously. We always do our sincere best to work with everyone on all warranty and basic sharpening questions when they come up. Most are quickly resolved without issue. However, over the years a very small number of individuals have forced KME to adopt the above policies.
