KME Knife Sharpening System Generation II

Introducing the KME Generation II featuring a
new modular, interchangeable clamp system.

An exciting, patented advancement in knife sharpening systems!

That’s right, interchangeable jaws! We have 3 new sets of special purpose accessory jaws available right now and a couple of surprises still to come.

Set 1: KME Low Profile "Standard" Jaws

We replaced the original clamp jaws with the new low profile jaws late last year and all kits produced since September of 2013 include the updated low profile jaws as standard equipment.

The low profile standard jaws permit sharpening much smaller knives than the originals and also allow for much lower sharpening angles on all knives. ...and yes, they are compatible and will work in older models of the KME system.

With exceptional grip strength and increased stone clearance, the low profile standard jaws permit sharpening a wide range of blade sizes and shapes.

Saber grinds, full flat grinds, and even full hollow ground blades are held securely with no need to tape or shim the blades.
